Palmyra Trail Ride, Saddle Creek Farm, Palmyra, VA 434-286-2201, Download the PDF
All of the trails are self guided, with a different color ribbon for each ride. They are a mix of wooded trails, old road beds through the woods, fields, and along the streams. There are a lot of stream crossings, and a few hay fields you'll cross through. Each ride is marked differently and each ride has "long loops" to make the ride shorter. The terrain is rolling, nothing real steep, although there are a few pretty decent climbs. Camping is "primitive" but there will be porta-potties, and water available throughout the camp. There are real bathrooms in the barn as well as washracks for the horses. See the download for more contact numbers and information.
